About My Rug Hooking

I owe the development of these playful images to art therapist, Lucia Capacchione. Her book, "The Power of Your Other Hand" launched me into fulfilling a childhood dream of being able to draw cartoons! and I did them with my non-dominant hand!

Loretta Moore, a wonderful rug hooker near Westport Ontario was my early hooking instructor. She delighted in my non-dominant images and thought they would translate well into hooking designs. It is due to her encouragement that these designs are now available through her. She has put them onto linen and sells them at hookedonthelake@kingston.net 613 273-8347
